Dragon Species

Here's a list of dragon species, and some stuff about them! (In alphabetical order).

. Adelaide's Dragon. Native to the Himalayas, as many dragons are, Adelaide's Dragons are greyish-white with darker grey spines. They are known for their bright scarlet eyes and have no wings. They feed mostly on mountain goats. They breath fire.
Alpine Dragon. I don't need to tell you their location, I'm sure you already know! The Alps, of course. Alpine Dragons' colour ranges from snow-white to dark green, and they have brown wings. They feed on any animal in reach. They breath snow.

6. Belinda's Nocturnal Dragon. These dragons are dark in colour, quite small, and have florescent white eyes and wings to match. They breathe smoke and feed on bats.
7. Chumana Dragon. These dragons, found in North America, are green in colouring. They can be found in every shade of green, but always green. Otherwise known as the Green Dragon, they breathe earth. Rather dusty when it gets poured on you.
8. Chusi Dragon. They are smallish for dragons, about a crocodile's size, and either lush green or dark pink. They breathe water and have no wings. They are also called the Rainforest Dragon, which gives you a clue to where they can be found. Chusis feed on other reptiles, which you can't call cannibalism, after all, humans feed on other mammals, don't they?
9. Common Dragon. When people think of dragons, this is probably the one they think of. Males are red and females are green and they both have orange spines. They feed on any largish animal, and breath fire. Otherwise known as the Chinese Dragon, for that is where they can be found, as well as the rest of the world.
9. Dacosta's Dragon. A large dragon that lives on wild coasts. They feed on seals. Their colour ranges from golden-brown to ocean-teal and they breathe sand.

11. Flentje's Spined Dragon. Comes in many colours and can be found in most wild places on this planet. They specifically like forests, and they can be almost any colour, with wings and, of course, spines. What they breathe depends per dragon, but usually fire or water.
12. Fafnir's Dragon, otherwise known as the Micro Dragon or Pygmy Dragon. Yes, the tiniest dragon of them all, which feeds on insects, giving you a clue of its size. They come in most colours, but are most commonly green. They breathe fire and have even been found in people's gardens in the UK.
13. Glaurung Dragon. A wingless, fire-breathing dragon which can be found in any mountains. They feed on deer and mountain goats which they kill by one wack of their strong tail. Their colour varies, but females are usually green and males black.
14. Great Spined Frost Dragon. Shiny white scales and large silver spines along back with spiked plates (like Godzilla's) around them. Large spiked ball at the end of the tail. The breath they have is toxic ice breath. Males have two large spikes at the end of their heads, and one small one under it. They also have a grey underbelly. Females have two large spikes one their head and one light blue spike that is tiny under the others. Felmales are the stronger ones, and they have toxin glands like a cobra's poison so they can ingect toxins in their victims. They have a blue underbelly. 21. Leelanee Dragon, also known as the Chameleon Dragon. You may be wondering why they are also known as Chameleon Dragons. It's because they can change colour, are only about a foot long, and, in fact, the only thing that stops them from being merely a chameleon is that they breathe fire.
22. Melusine Dragon. The ocean dragon, which lives at the very bottom of the ocean, and feeds on whale carcasses, only needing to eat once a year. They are dark in colouring, and have florescent green eyes as a warning.
23. Nilakanta Dragon. An Asian dragon, green with a blue chest, and very large. They breathe fire and feed on - guess what - elephants, so it will not surprise you when I inform you that they are also called Gigantus Gigantus Dragons.

 36. Urulu Dragon. A dragon native to the Himalayas, Urulus are small, winged, and fire-breathing. They feed on anything they can sink their teeth into.
37.  Weich Lieben Dragon. Females are a light shade of peach with furry spines up their backs and sparkles in their eyes. Males are a light shade of blue with soft spines up their backs and sparkles in their eyes. These dragons were discovered in the caves of imagination by Peppywolf. They spread love amongst soft creatures such as rabbits, enabling this extraordinary dragon not to have any need of eating.
38. Windy Mist Albine Dragon. This dragon was discovered high up in the mountains by ChocolateCandy. Both males and females are white with grey eyes. They are very good at flying.
39. Xiuhcoatl Dragon. Otherwise known as the Fire Dragon, Xiuhcoatls do not only breath fire, but are also made of fire. They can be found in forests all over the world, and feed on any mammal.

    1. Well, it depends what you mean by real. I made them as real as the word "dragon" by inventing them, and most of their names do actually mean something to do with dragons or serpents.

    1. Most of them! Well, I didn't come up with all the words, I found a list of words meaning some sort of dragon or serpent and I used quite a lot of those, but I came up with a lot of them and all the stuff about the dragons. Three people have also suggested dragons.
